Chocolate orange tart




  • 250 g sugar
  • 290 g flour
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 14 g baking powder
  • 3 pinches of salt
  • 190 g soft butter
  • 90 g milk
  • 300 g shelled eggs
  • grated zest of 1 orange


  • 200 g soft butter
  • 90 g icing sugar
  • 35 g cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons rum


  1. Beat the eggs gently and add the grated orange zest
  2. Mix the butter with the sugar
  3. When well mixed, add the eggs little by little, continuing to beat
  4. Sieve in the flour, then add the cocoa, the yeast and the salt
  5. Add the milk
  6. Pour the mixture into the lightly buttered mould and bake at 170° for 70 minutes
  7. Remove from the oven and after approx. 5 minutes, remove from the mould and allow to cool on a wire rack


  1. Beat together the soft butter, the icing sugar until aerated and foamy
  2. Add the rum and the sieved cocoa powder and beat until well mixed
  3. Pour the mixture into a piping bag with a medium/small round nozzle and cover the hedgehog with small tufts
